Certificate in Learning and Development
CHaRM offers a high level of tutor input and the networking to develop learning relationships with other professionals. At a recent standards assessment by the CIPD, the feedback received was that we have a high level of resources and support to offer students, both in terms of tutor support and practical resources, better in fact than many academic institutions. We were also praised for our commitment to recognising the Certificate in Learning and Development as a distinct and important qualification for professionals in that field.
Our next Certificate in Learning and Development will begin in January 2020 and will include the following modules:
- Learning and Development and the Organisation
- Identifying Learning and Development Needs
- Evaluating Learning and Development Activities
- Designing Learning and Development Activities
- Becoming an Effective L&D practitioner
- Delivering Learning and Development Activities.
The Certificate is delivered over a block of two days per month, thus limiting the amount of time you need to spend away from work. The fee for the Certificate is £2394.00. The programme starts with a short induction which is delivered via webinar. The next day is a full day of learning, which will take place in our training room. Before the course begins a full diagnostic interview will be undertaken with you to ensure that you can be supported in whatever way you need. Tutorials are provided during the course, both on a one-to-one basis and in groups, where any problems or difficulties you are experiencing with workload or assessments can be addressed and any support required can be put in place.
Previous student feedback includes:
"Thank you for providing an excellent course. I have really enjoyed stretching myself mentally and learning all the new things that have been passed on to me. Gerry and Amanda have been fantastic tutors, full of wisdom, knowledge and insights and have made the whole process a fun, relaxing and stimulating one. Thank you for involving me."
"Thank you for all your supprt, words of encouragement and sharing your amazing experiences with me over the last 9 months. I feel I came into the world of L&D by chance but I am now proud to call myself an L&D practitioner and I'm looking forward to seeing what opportunities I can chase. Good luck to you all and thank you."
"I have moaned and groaned but got full support from you all. This has really helped to turn this into a great experience."
