ILM Level 3 Certificate in Leadership and Management
The ILM Level 3 Certificate in Leadership and Management aims to give new or potential first line managers the foundation for their formal development in this role. The qualification does this by developing basic management skills and assisting participants to gain the basic knowledge required by a manager. Delivered in either small groups or on a one-to-one basis, this qualification broadens skills and knowledge in a flexible and practical way. There are no formal entry requirements but participants will normally be either new or aspiring first line managers or team leaders with the opportunity to meet the assessment demand.
Our next Certificate programme begins on Tuesday 5 April 2022 with an Induction, with the first module beginning on Thursday 7 April 2022. Both sessions will be delivered virtually.
We use a range of learning solutions to deliver the qualification, which include face to face sessions and tutorials, webinars and podcasts, coaching, real life case studies and scenarios, personal assessment and development tools, workbooks to embed the learning and a variety of different activities and projects so that learning can be easily related back to real life, which ensures a good transfer of learning to the workplace. Our learning content includes:
- Problem Solving and Decision Making
- Understanding Communication
- Planning and Allocating Work
- How to Establish an Effective Team
- Giving Briefings and Making Presentations
- Performance Management
- Understanding Leadership.
